English:
Though based in Horsens, Rune Christensen has travelled around the world as a self-taught artist. Drawing his inspiration from the colours and patterns of Asian, South American and North African temples and traditional craftsmanship, Rune Christensen often creates faceless and mysterious portraits. People are always the focus of Rune Christensen’s work, portrayed in colourful textiles, with antlers and expressive tattoos, but anonymous faces.
The mural on Grønnegade was painted in 2014 in connection with the Latin Quarter’s street art festival in Horsens.

Regrettably, Rune Christensen’s street art piece has since then been painted over with black paint, but below you can see photos taking during the painting process.
